Dear Uncle Charlie
I'm doing a project on hawaiian mythology and I have searched the web for a long time. I found a couple of good sites but each one I went to contridicted the previous one I visited. One said that the goddess Pele was from a samoan family. I asked my grandma and she said no and sent me a book, Hawaiian mythology but the book isn't clear, there are about 20 differents versions of everything. Do you have any information on creation, the death and thereafter, the natural world and the moral world? If you do I would greatly appreciate some help. I also have to put on a play. Do you have any stories that would be entertaining but appealing? My teacher is a very hard grader and I want the information and play to be as accurate as possible. Please help me!!!
