Uncle Charlie,
I have two subjects. First I saw a documentary on the annexation of Hawaii and I could not believe how disgraceful the people from United States could be. No matter how many bills the President signs, it won't make up for the pain and suffering. I have been a visitor to the islands many times and this actually made me not want to visit anymore. Who would want to support what the early missonaries created and pushed the native hawaiians away. Not me. My wife's family is from Tonga and I hope the Tongan islands can stay pure because this behavior is unexceptable.
Second, another documentary had the subject of Puana Leo Schools around the islands. Does Maui have any? Do you have to have only Hawaiian blood? Are the schools public or private?
