: : We attended the Tahiti fete on Kaui, August 8, 1998. The opening ceremony with Tahitian blessing on Hawaiian ground reminded us of the original Tahitian explorers & their long ocean voyage across the Pacific to the Hawaiian Islands. The native chants were a very traditional beginning to the group of dancers that followed. The arts & crafts of koa wood, songs and dance gave us an opportunity to experience the aloha/ yorana spirit. The big city of Honolulu was far from our minds on our Kawai vacation and the special magic of the Pacific Islanders.

: Aloha Gary and Barbara. Mahalo for sharing, occasions like that is always remembered and leaves a lasting impression in the minds of the beholders. Aloha Uncle Charlie
